The Health Hero Award is presented to staff from across the Oswestry-based hospital who are nominated by their colleagues for going the extra mile to help.

Suey said: “Jayne is a new member of the Pharmacy team but she has fitted in really well and gets along with everyone brilliantly.

“She is hard working and passionate about her role and supporting patients, and is always smiling.

“Thank you Jayne for everything you do.”

Imran added: “Since Jayne has joined the department, she has worked with her colleagues to implement new and more effective ways of working.

“She has a great relationship with staff on the wards and always presents a calm and professional representation of Pharmacy.”

Jayne was presented her award by Mark Brandreth Chief Executive.

Jayne said: “I am absolutely overwhelmed to be announced as the latest winner of the Health Hero Award.

“I’ve only been at RJAH a short amount of time, but it means so much to know that my colleagues appreciate me.

“Everyone in Pharmacy is super lovely and they’re a fab team.”

Mark said: “It’s a privilege to announce Jayne as our Health Hero winner for June.

“Our Pharmacy team received outstanding feedback in our most recent Care Quality Commission report and every day they do fantastic work to keep our patients safe.
