Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries - Insertion of Suprapublc Catheter - Leaflet

This leaflet explains the process by which a patient has a catheter drainage tube into the bladder placed via an incision in the skin (just above the pubic hair line). This is performed aided by a Cystoscopy (an inspection of the bladder and urethra with a telescope) which is carried out in an operating theatre.
