Library & Knowledge Service

The library will reopen for all staff and students at RJAH from Monday 3rd August.

Access to the library will be slightly different, but the service we offer remains the same!

We have reduced capacity in the library because of social distancing requirements so it will be necessary to book PCs/study space between 9am and 4pm Monday – Friday

A member of the library team will be available in the library at these times and you can book either by phone or email.

Our contact details are below:

Email: rjah.library@nhs.net
Phone: 01691 404388

If you have not booked a space and come in to the library we will allocate a space if there is one available – however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you, so we are advising that you book if possible.  To ensure fairness to all staff we will not be able to take block bookings.

To ensure the safety of everyone using the library and the library team we ask that you follow the guidance below:

  • Please us the hand sanitiser provided at the library entrance, prior to entering the library.

  • To facilitate social distancing we can only accommodate a maximum of 10 people in the library at any time (excluding library team members).  8 in the main library, and a maximum of 2 in the Quiet Zone.  7 PCs are available to book.

  • Sanitising wipes are provided by every workstation; please ensure you wipe your computer down before and after use.
